Five minutes plus three seconds per move, a favorite for club nights and casual games. It is fast, but it leaves room to think at critical moments.

How to play 5+3

Try to keep a minute in hand when the middlegame ends. With 40 moves each the increment adds two minutes per player, so a game takes about 14 minutes.
